View solutionHow to Plan an LED Display Project
A practical sequence for defining requirements, selecting equipment and preparing a supplier-ready project brief.
Define the application and viewing distance
Start with the installation location, the audience and their typical viewing distance. Note whether viewers will move past the screen, sit in a defined area or watch from multiple positions, since these factors affect screen placement, dimensions and content readability.
Select the display type and pixel pitch
Choose indoor or outdoor construction and decide whether the display will be fixed or rental. Match pixel pitch to the nearest viewing distance and the content, including text, graphics, video or camera feed.
Confirm control, signal and installation requirements
Confirm the required processor, input sources, signal distribution and cabling routes. Review power availability, mounting structure, ventilation, weather protection where relevant and service access before the equipment layout is finalized.
Request a project configuration
Send the screen size, installation location, typical viewing distance and target schedule. Include available drawings, content or signal details and any access constraints when possible, so the configuration recommendation reflects the project conditions.
