Signal Cables

Signal cables connect source devices, processors, controllers, and LED display components within an AV system. They are selected for the required interface and installation method, serving fixed systems, rental setups, control rooms, stages, and other professional production environments.

HDMI vs SDI vs Cat6: Which Cable for LED Displays?

Choose HDMI, SDI, or Cat6 according to the signal interface and the connection between the source, processor, controller, and display. HDMI 2.1 Armour cables carry AV content from sources to processors at up to 48 Gbps, supporting 8K at 60 Hz, HDR, and resolutions up to 10K. Their armor jacket suits rental and fine-pitch installations. SDI cables are broadcast-grade 75 ohm coax rated up to 3,000 MHz, with a 10 mm installation bend radius and an operating range from -55 C to +200 C. Cat6 cables use 24 AWG bare copper twisted pairs to connect processors, controllers, and display components.
