Converters, Extenders & Splitters
Converters, extenders, and splitters adapt signal formats, extend transmission distance, or distribute one source to multiple destinations. They support compatibility between AV devices and help build practical signal paths for LED displays, control rooms, meeting spaces, stages, and event systems.

How Far Can HDMI and SDI Signals Run to an LED Wall?
Long HDMI and SDI routes to an LED wall are typically carried over fiber because copper runs have practical distance limits. The 12G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender supports 12G, 6G, 3G, HD, and SD-SDI signals for distances up to 10 km over single-mode fiber. It also provides a loop-out port for local monitoring and a reverse RS-485 channel for control. The HF4K@60Hz HDMI 2.0 to Fiber Extender carries 4K video at 60 Hz and supports EDID modes, RS-232 pass-through, and IR control. Transmission distance, fiber type, and redundancy should be confirmed against the processor and screen plan.
