Why Do Stadium Perimeter Displays Need High Refresh Rates?
High refresh rates prevent broadcast and slow-motion cameras from capturing flicker, banding, or dark lines when perimeter displays appear in match footage. The Sport-PLUS perimeter series operates at 18,000 Hz or higher, with brightness from 6,500 to 10,000 nits and a 4,000:1 contrast ratio. Its 1600 x 900 x 101 mm cabinets provide IP68 front and IP66 rear protection for ground-level weather exposure. Pixel density ranges from 10,000 to 22,500 dots per square meter, with minimum viewing distances of 6 to 10 m. For each stadium project, refresh rate, daylight brightness, and environmental protection should be confirmed together.
